Platform support & access limits

A platform name identifies a source this tool focuses on, not a guarantee that every item works. Use the result of your individual task; an unknown status is explicitly marked as not verified.

A status is not a test result for every link and does not guarantee future availability. Without a verification result, no platform is marked as passed.

How should I read the status labels?

“Not verified” means no verification record is available. “Platform restrictions” means access is restricted. “Sample verified” refers only to evidence for a particular public sample. A platform label does not establish that both MP4 and MP3 passed; each format needs its own download evidence.

No independent download record has been supplied for the format cells. Reading metadata such as a title or duration, or installing an extractor, is not proof of a playable file.

What is outside scope?

  • Content requiring login, payment, DRM decryption or bypassing access restrictions.
  • Works you do not have permission to download, media longer than 10 minutes, or files larger than 100 MiB.
  • Profiles, playlists, live streams, arbitrary direct-media URLs and bulk downloads are explicitly rejected. The exact input boundaries follow.

Which single-item links are accepted?

These are URL syntax examples with placeholder identifiers, not live media, permission to download, or download tests. An accepted entry point may still fail because of access restrictions or unavailable formats.

Inputs that are explicitly rejected

Profiles, playlists, live streams and arbitrary direct-media URLs are explicitly rejected, not merely unverified. Entire accounts and bulk downloads are not accepted; a watch link with a list parameter is also rejected. An accepted entry that resolves to a collection, live or upcoming stream still fails.

An accepted link is not a supported media format

This version selects only available progressive HTTP(S) media files, using a combined file or separate video and audio files as the source permits. HLS, segmented DASH and SABR-only sources fail with format_unavailable when no supported direct format is available; there is no manifest or fragment-download fallback.

MP3 fails if there is no audio track or available audio format; it cannot create missing sound. MP4 audio depends on the available tracks. For format_unavailable, choose another permitted single item within these input and format limits, or use an export option allowed by the source platform. Resubmitting or switching formats does not bypass fixed restrictions.

The fixed official Blender media file is an authorized test exception, not public arbitrary-URL support or evidence that any YouTube / TikTok / Instagram format works. The three platforms and two formats still require separate download tests for all six cells.

What should I do if a link fails?

Check that the original item is still public and accessible, then read the task error. Do not try to bypass restrictions by providing passwords, account cookies or repeated requests.

For videos you uploaded to YouTube yourself, consider the official YouTube export instructions. This applies only to content covered by those instructions, not to arbitrary videos uploaded by other people.
